Hey fam,
Holy cow what a week how are you? hope you got home safely. this is crazy I get 30 min to write you an email and it took 10 to get in to the account... anyway. hope all is well. chan is off ok?
This week has been crazy wed I got my companion Elder Buss he is awesome, He is from Wyoming and is so cool. he took Chinese for one full year and then went to Taiwan to sing last summer in Taiwan, way cool he is way good with the language and this is good for me because I need all the help I can get!! you all would like him he is going to France mandarin Chinese speaking crazy. he went to France as an exchange student, way cool kid!
So far this is what has happened. Wednesday we met out districts and were put into companionships, also we were given a Chinese name, mine is huang it means yellow and is short for the yellow river, look it up it is the second tone. Thursday we learned how to pray in Chinese and that is so cool almost all the prayers that I have heard now are in Chinese!!! Friday we learned how to testify in Chinese and new my tongban (comp) and I do it at least twice a day. way cool. It's Hard to believe that it's been only a few days, my tongban said it is best that it feels all like one day because you go to bed at 10:30 and get up at 6:30 both when it is dark so there is no change then we spend all day in the class room, all day, except for meals and one hour that we get to exercise for 40 min.
Saturday we learned how to start a conversation and the basics of that, way cool. Sunday was slower by along way, way cool we sing all the songs in Chinese and most of the talks in church are in Chinese as well, wow right..? This truly is the lords work. Today is p-day (Monday) and the only day that we get to email and write letters, so just some FYI. guess what I'm the district leader, it's cool but busy just like a normal Sunday :) jk

FYI I can read letters during the week I can only read emails for this 30 min.
